Mayor Munchkins (also known as Mayor Roegiers) is a character exclusive to the PC versions of Mario is Missing!, appearing as the fictional mayor of Bombay, India. Like all other mayors in the game, they contact Luigi via videophone upon his arrival in the city, as well as after all of the artifacts in the area have been returned to their rightful locations. In the first call, Mayor Munchkins states that the entire town is pillaged by keepsake-crazed Koopas.

Once all of the artifacts have been recovered, Luigi receives a second call from Mayor Munchkins, who thanks him for saving the city from the Koopas and wishes him luck on the rest of his adventure.

Both versions depict Munchkins as a woman with different appearances.

• Mayor Roegiers is named after the technical producer of the Macintosh version of Mario is Missing!, Marc J. Roegiers.
