Dwarf is the brave giant of Parsley Woods, who appears in the last chapters of Super Mario Land 3: Wario Land 3 in the Super Mario Kodansha manga. He is a giant dress like a typical medieval woodcutter, with the addition of a cooking pot for a hat, adorned with a feather. He has a five o'clock shadow beard and a tiny pencil mustache that is actually made of a word revealing his current emotion, which cannot be deciphered with his big eyes and tiny mouth.
Years ago, Dwarf hidden throughout Kitchen Island his treasures that, in the present times, the Brows Sugar Pirates would have claimed as their own. Before leaving the island for unknown reasons, he also battled against the evil and greedy Genie, and trapped him inside a magic lamp.
As he returns to his homeland, possibly following the return of Debidebi Daiō, he discovers the disappearance of his belongings, then saves Mario and Daisy from Wario (incidentally freeing him from Debidebi Daiō's influence). After presenting himself, Mario explains that Debidebi Daiō has both his treasures and the Genie's lamp. Scared by the appearance of his nemesis, Genie transforms Debidebi Daiō's lair into a airship and flees with the Debidebi-dan in tow. To stop them, Dwarf bestows Mario a Jet Hat, and as he flies away, he promises to bring back his treasures.
Dwarf remains on the island during the final battle and is last seen by Daisy's grave with the others at the end of the story.
