The Debidebi-dan is the group lead by Debidebi Daiō in the after-story of Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3 in the Super Mario Kodansha manga.
Using his brainwashing powers, Debidebi Daiō takes control over Wario and Luigi and makes them the first members, he then recluts two former members of the Brown Sugar Pirates, Minotaur (who was resurrected) and Bobo, who were not brainwashed. Minotaur, through his gay personality, manages to quickly fraternize with all the male members of the crew, while Bobo is against his view on females. He is however slightly against his boss being a womanizer, something that will eventually push him to betray him and help Mario during the final battle. Other members of the crew are three Face Blocks turned into servants and the Genie, who gets paid with treasures for each wish he grants to Debidebi Daiō. While trying to take his lamp back, Captain Syrup is caught and then brainwashed into the gang. Debidebi Daiō also explains that he is able to do the same for Mario and Daisy, but he does not want to risk, worried that Mario will become cooler than him and Daisy would lose her cutness, but in a desperate attempt to get rid of Mario, he does brainwash Daisy into Warudeijī, but Mario manages to convert her back with a romantic declaration. Luigi and Wario are also later freed from his mind control, the former by witnessing Daisy crying of sadness, and the former by losing his evil Viking helmet that all the brainwashed victims gain. Debidebi Daiō is also unable to brainwash them back, as he can only do that once per person. Bobo is the only one to meet a greausome fate by being dragged by an anchor at the bottom of the sea.
The gang's goal is to conquer the world through the toxic gas of the Konotako, and he nearly succeeds, but Mario, Daisy, Wario, and Minotaur twarts his plan, and Luigi manages to repair the seal that imprisoned Debidebi Daiō, vanquishing him. Doing so, all of his curses are undone: the Face Blocks revert to their inanimate state and Syrup is freed from his influence. Daisy then uses her magic powers to sacrifice herself and eliminate the toxic gas.
