Mototin's funny manga theater[edit]

モトちんオモシロまんが劇場げきじょう (Mototin's funny manga theater)

Mototin takes the opportunity to talk about the proportions of the Super Mario characters in the official artwork, starting with the fact that Mario's face is much bigger than Princess Peach's, despite her being much taller than him.

On that note, in Dr. Mario there is an artwork of Dr. Mario and Nurse Peach with their legs cut off by the frame, but if the rest of the legs were to be added, neither of them would be on the same ground level.

Back to the "big faces" argument, Yoshi has a face so big that, realistically, Mario would not be able to see in front of him when riding him. Bowser, interested in the conversation, enters the scene in his accurate design, and after seeing him, everyone declares him the big-headed winner. Bowser gets flustered by the recognition, until Wendy notices that they are just mocking him through compliments.

Chapter 1[edit]

Chapter 1

パチパチパンチにマリオダウン (Mario goes down with a pop-pop-pop)

Mario, Daisy, Captain Syrup, and the Floater (who is carrying the treasure sack of the former pirate captain) are looking for the Demon Bat Gang to vanquish the Demon Bat King before he rules over the world using the toxic gas of his Konotako army, and rescue Wario, and Luigi from his control. At the villain's base, through a periscope, Wario and Luigi are spying on Mario, jealous of him being surrounded by girls. The Demon Bat King reassures them that he can use his gas to brainwash any girl to join their harems, but another member of the gang is opposed to this idea: Minotaur. Having been resurrected to join the gang, Minotaur explains his homosexuality and how women are evil with a male's feelings, even though this idea is not well received by the other member, Bobo, who is a femminist.

While the gang discuss this, the Demon Bat King notices Mario and the others getting more and more near to their lair in Stove Canyon, so he asks his minions to stop them. Minotaur however states that they stand no chance against Mario, having lost to him in the past, so the Demon Bat King asks Luigi if he knows his brother's weakness. After some consideration, he answers that his weakness are beautiful girls, so they just need to disguise as women and distract him. Using the Sailor Guardians cosplays, Luigi, Wario, and Minotaur go towards Mario. Bobo, who at first does not want to join Minotaur in the mission, is reminded by the Demon Bat King that Mario likes "beautiful women", so she flies to aid them.

The three disguised men approach Mario and their plan to distract him nearly works, until he notices that they are wearing wigs, revealing their identities. Worried for the outcome of the impending battle, Syrup asks Mario to give her the lamp that she believes is in his possession, so that she can summon the Genie and get rid of the enemies, but Mario does not understand. She then proceeds to test her theory of him hiding the lamp in his pants by rubbing the bulge in his crotch, only to realize her embarassing misunderstanding when Daisy explains that bulge is "another type of treasure".

Meanwhile, from the periscope, the Demon Bat King spots Daisy and falls for her. He then demands Bobo to take the treasure sack from Floater and, as she does that, he reveals to be in possession of the Genie lamp all along, and now that he has treasures, he can pay the Genie for his wishes, demanding that he brings Daisy to him. The Genie goes and, aided by Minotaur and Wario restraining Mario, knocks him out and takes Daisy back to the cove, much to Minotaur's displeasure, who was fraternizing with the male members of the gang for their emancipated masculinity. Just then, Floater gets affected by the Konotako gas and breaks into pieces, and when Mario asks Syrup to help him, she walks away, frustrated by the futility of her efforts to gain something he did not have. Alone and desperate, Mario notices something on the ground: the only Treasure that fell off Syrup's sack, the Fairy Bell. He rings it and a magical portal appears.

Chapter 2[edit]

Chapter 2

絶体絶命ぜつたいせつめい、マリオのなみだ (Mario's tears in a desperate situation)

From the portal, a talking hand-held whale appears and offers to lead Mario towards the enemy base. As they step inside Stove Canyon, Mario is attacked by the nameless anglerfish scrapped from the game (but it is actually Wario in disguise) and they both nearly fall to their doom in a lava pool, but Mario manages to hold onto the overhang, while the maw of Wario's diguise holds onto his overalls. As he tries to pull up, Luigi approaches with evil intentions, stepping over the remains of the giant Floater that released the Demon Bat King.

Speaking of him, the Demon Bat King takes Daisy inside his lair, explaining that who has a pure heart is afflicted quickly by the toxic gas he is spreading. When the princess asks him why is he doing this to the world, he explains he is tired of being considered weak and small by the others, so he will take revenge by showing the world what a "small and weak" creature can do. As the gas is spreading around the world, Princess Peach, who managed to resist longer compared to her father and her subjects, also falls victim of the gas and begins to rot. Back to Mario, Luigi is trying to make him fall by stomping his fingers, but Mario manages to grab his leg and pulls himself up. Doing so, his pants falls down (as Wario was still hanging from them), leaving him exposed and realizing that Daisy and the others were witnessing through a glass screen on the other side of the gorge.

Taking advantage of the soundproof glass, Minotaur informs Mario that Daisy finds his member quite disappointing, embarassing Mario so much that Luigi is able to unleash a series of punches against him. After swatting away the hand-held whale, Luigi is ready to give the final blow, when he catches Daisy crying behind the glass. The sight of her tears transforms Luigi, liberating him from the grasp of the Demon Bat King. The King is surprised by this, but then he laughs, reminding that the gas takes effect quickly on pure people, and Luigi is now rotting in front of Mario's eyes. Furious, rage takes over Mario, and Wario and the Minotaur run inside the lair, locking the door, but Mario starts breaking it down.

The Demon Bat King stops him by throwing a Konotako at him, and its gas seems to do the trick. Wario then asks why the King did not bother to convert Mario and Daisy's alignments with his magic, but he explains that Mario would have resulted cooler than him, and Daisy would have turned less cute. Just then, the Kerai, three Face Blocks brought to life by the Demon Bat King, spot Mario defiantly standing against the gas and resumes to break down the door. Wario suggests the idea that Mario is not giving up because he has a lot of women to not disappoint. Mario enters the Demon Bat Gang's cove, furious and ready to throw punches, but Daisy is taken as a hostage by the King.

Chapter 3[edit]

Chapter 3

激憤げきふん巨大きよだいピーチひめ (The giant angry Princess Peach!)

The Demon Bat King has issued a dire threat: he will harm Daisy if Mario makes any foolish moves. He scolds the King, telling him he should not be rough with girls, so Minotaur and Wario take his advice and interpret it as hurting a man is perfectly fine, and assault him. During the confusion, Syrup, who spotted the Demon Bat King taking Daisy to his lair, sneaks in the breach caused by Mario and takes the magic lamp, but she is spotted by Minotaur and the Demon Bat King converts her to be his minion. Distracted by this, the Gang ignores Mario long enough for him to take Daisy and run to Parsley Woods. Having lost track of them, the Demon Bat King asks Syrup how would she hunt down Mario, and she replies that she would create a monster that Mario would not be able to fight back, rubbing the lamp to ask the Genie for one.

Safe by the Fork Tree, Mario begins to think of a plan to destroy the machine that is spreading the Konotako's gas, while Daisy attempts to kiss him as a gesture of gratitude (but she is hindered by his big nose) and then proposes to make a new life together alone in the woods, when a giant angry golden Princess Peach appears behind them. Scared, Mario claims he did not do anything to Daisy, while Daisy, defiantly, boasts that she did "all sorts of things", which angers the giant Peach, which then tries to stomp and squash them. Daisy manages to spot Wario on a control panel inside Peach's crown, but despite this information, Mario is unable to hurt even a fake Peach. Cornered on a seaside cliff, Mario and Daisy are about to be squashed, when an axe breaks the giant Peach to pieces and flies back to the owner's hand: Dwarf, the brave giant of Parsley Woods. Just from his giant size, Wario gets so scared he loses his Viking helmet given to him by the Demon Bat King, turning small, and getting free from Demon Bat King's influence.

Dwarf explains that he just got back on his home island and discovered that all his memorabilia like his trophies and tools he scattered around the island disappeared. Understanding that those are the treasures the pirates claimed, Mario reveals that the Demon Bat King took them to pay off the Genie, the same being that Dwarf fought so much to trap inside the lamp for his evil deeds. Upon being discovered, the Genie transforms the Demon Bat King's lair into a soaring pirate ship, enabling him to elude his nemesis. With the Konotako gas machine implemented on the ship, the Demon Bat King is satisfied by this turn of events, and uses the anchor to catch Daisy. As the ship is flying away, Dwarf bestows Mario a Jet Hat and he goes after the ship to stop the Demon Bat King, rescue Daisy, and bring Dwarf's treasures back.

Chapter 4[edit]

Chapter 4

しおしおワリオ、おとこ友情ゆうじょう (The brave friendly Wario)

Jet Mario is approaching the airship, when Bobo puts herself in his way and claws at him, causing him to lose the hat and plummet towards the Capri Sea. The hat ends up falling right onto Wario's head, who then proceeds to save Mario and taking him near the ship. Meanwhile, the Demon Bat King is not pleased at how Daisy is still more interested in Mario, despite him not being that good looking, and gets locked in the "reflection room" (the bathroom, covered with tiles of the King's face). As she cries on the toilet, Daisy receives a visit from Peach's apparition. She explains that Daisy is very similar to her, therefore, she also has some mysterious magic powers, and she can use them to save the world. To use them, she must express pure joy while granting a wish, but she also adds that, by doing so, she will also disappear.

Daisy wakes up, thinking that the Peach apparition was a dream, while the ship begins to spread the gas to every piece of land it encounters, but just then Mario and Wario are approaching the ship, spotting Daisy by a window. While he gets near, Wario is attacked by Bobo and her Watches, and he is even hit in the groin by her beak, nearly causing him to fall, but he regains altitude. The Kerai suggest the King to brainwash Wario again, but he explains he can only do that once per person, so they decide to direct a gas pipe towards him. Right at that moment, Mario manages to grab Daisy's hand, but Wario gets his by the gas. Rotting away, Wario loses power and holds onto the ship's anchor, while Daisy is still holding onto Mario.

Still flapping around, Bobo uses her wings to create a strong wind that seemingly blows away Wario and nearly takes away Mario, but Daisy still holds him tight, to the point of having her waist stuck in the small window. To this, the Demon Bat King makes a comment on how, despite Syrup is more curvy in the chest, Daisy still beats her in the "waist department", to which Bobo flaunts that she is the most curvy in both. Still attached to the anchor rope, the rotting Wario jumps on Bobo's claw, while she is too distracted boasting to Minotaur, ties the rope around it, and cuts the rope. As the anchor pulls Bobo and Wario down, he offers a heartfelt wish of good luck to Mario. As Minotaur bids farewell to his masculine companion, the Demon Bat King, low on (useful) minions, takes the extreme decision to convert Daisy as she is about to pull Mario up the window. Daisy is turned evil and is ordered to let Mario go into the sea, much to his horror.

Chapter 5[edit]

Chapter 5

デイジー、やっぱりあいつ!? (Daisy, does love really win?)

Back at Stove Canyon, the ghost of the little Floater goes to the bodies of Luigi and the hand-held whale, passing them her energy so that they can rebuild the giant Floater (whose debris have emerged were uncovered by a lava tide) to seal back the Demon Bat King. Just like that, Luigi and the hand-held whale are back, alive and well.

Back to the flying SS Tea Cup, the King orders Daisy to drop Mario, but he retorts that she will not follow his orders and that she is his. Hearing those words, Daisy breaks free from the Demon Bat King's influence and pulls up Mario. Terrified, the Demon Bat King rushes to Syrup, commanding his newly appointed "main woman" to take care of Mario. Syrup summons the Genie and the Demon Bat King gives him the entire treasure sack if he destroys Mario once and for all. Using the Mythril Crown from the treasure sack, the Genie's power rises up and he goes down on Mario, but he refuses to drop dead. Meanwhile, while cheering for the genie, the Demon Bat King leans on Syrup's chest, claiming that it is much softer than Daisy, to which the princess slaps him, forcing the King to retrain her with his tail.

The Genie is surprised that Mario is still willing to stand up after such beating, but he insists that he is too determined to disappoint all of his friends and let the world to its doom, even though the Genie peeks inside his brain and reveals that he is not wrong, but he is doing this not for all his friends, but for his female friends. As the beating continues, Demon Bat King grows more and more worried seeing the treasure pile disappearing one piece after another, worried that Mario would resist until they all disappear with the Genie. Meanwhile, still saddened for losing his friends, and unable to watch Mario suffer, Minotaur grabs the dancing mask from the treasure pile and slaps it on the Genie's face. As he dances on top of the Minotaur, Genie resorts to his last attack: summoning his nine kids and sic them against Mario, but as they begin to torment the plumber, the treasure pile disappears: Genie's payment is up and he returns to his lamp with his kids in tow.

Finally, Mario goes to the Konotako tank and destroys it then, holding his breath, proceeds to beat up all of the creatures with a pipe, destroying them. With the machine damaged, the ship burns and begins its descent towards Kitchen Island. The King orders Syrup to do something, so she proposes the idea to break the lamp, freeing the Genie from its prison and payment restriction. The King is worried that the Genie might also be unable to follow their orders, but Syrup breaks the lamp anyway. Unfortunately for them, the Genie and his kids can only grow big when someone rubs them out of the lamp, so they are tiny and useless to their plan and by the time they transfer into the Platinum Lamp, a beam hits the Demon Bat King's crown and burns it.

Luigi and the hand-held whale have successfully rebuilt the statue, causing the Demon Bat King to turn into a normal Demon Bat and all of his spells are broken, turning the Kerai into inanimated Face Blocks and freeing Syrup from his influence. While Mario puts off the fire and brings the ship safely down, the spirit of Kinoko Sennin de Arushindo appears and congratulates with him, but also reminds him that the Konotako's gas has damaged a lot of countries. Hearing that, Daisy is ready to fulfill her purpose: after giving Mario a kiss on the nose, Daisy turns into flower spores and spreads all around the world, healing everyone affected by the gas. While the world rejoices, Mario and Luigi cry over the loss of Daisy and, with the help of their friends, they make a commemorative tombstone for her. However, a miracle happens: the spores bloom into daisy flowers, which in turn become small versions of Daisy, ready to fill the world with her charming and effervescent personality.

As the manga closes, Wario emerges (alive and well) from the sea, and noticing the black cartoon circle closing in, he tries to stop it, lamenting that he got robbed of his protagonist role, but with no avail.
