Aunt Marie[1] is a minor character in The Super Mario Bros. Movie. She is a member of Mario and Luigi's family. It is implied that she is the wife of Mario and Luigi's Uncle Arthur.

History[edit]

The Super Mario Bros. Movie[edit]

In The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Marie is shown living with Mario's dad, Mario's mom, Uncle Tony, Mario, Luigi, their grandfather and niece. During the dinner conversation, Arthur sarcastically quips about Mario and Luigi's deserving an Oscar for worst actors for the Super Mario Bros. Plumbing commercial, causing Marie to smack him in the head. Marie reappears at the end of the movie, being among the crowd of people in Brooklyn celebrating Bowser's defeat.
