The Waterfall Area[1] is a location in The Super Mario Bros. Movie. It features various tall rocks emerging from the water, similar to the scenery of Sparkling Waters from New Super Mario Bros. U, as well as a bridge crossing through it with Cheep Cheeps jumping from both sides, referencing World 2-3 and World 7-3 from Super Mario Bros.

The Waterfall Area is one of the locations visited by Mario, Princess Peach, and Toad during their journey to reach the Jungle Kingdom. While crossing the area's bridge, a Cheep Cheep latches onto Mario's face. In the film's second trailer, this scene is extended to show Princess Peach pulling the Cheep Cheep off Mario's face, which then latches onto Toad's face.[2]
