Super Mario–related role Set designer for Club Mario

The Hitman of Design, as he is referred to in the credits[1], was the set designer for the Club Mario segments of The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! He also appears as one of the guests during the "Are You Bogus?" segment for the segment for The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! episode "Do You Princess Toadstool Take this Koopa...?", where he poses as Dan Quayle, who was vice president of the United States at the time of the segment's production, with Jeff Rose posing as his secret agent.

At the beginning of "Are You Bogus?", Tommy Treehugger asks "Quayle" what his name is, to which he responds that it is Dan Quayle. He then asks him what he does for a living, to which he says that he wants to be president, but is currently vice president. He then asks "Quayle" who the man standing to the side of him is, to which he explains that he is his secret agent. Tommy asks "Quatle" what he has been doing recently, to which he replies that he has been traveling in Central America. Tommy comments that Central America is dangerous and asks him to tell him about his experiences in the region. "Quayle" responds that they had a crackup in Kansas City, bad times in Ohio, and savages in Milwaukee. Co-MC realizes that the guest that the guest they have is not Dan Quayle and pulls out a large newspaper featuring a photo of the actual Dan Quayle. Tommy adds that the locations he mentioned are states in the Midwest, explaining that Central America includes countries like El Salvador. Taking off the guest's cap, Tommy realizes that the guest is actually the Hitman of Design, who designed the entire Club Mario set. He then asks for the Hitman to leave along with his "security guard," who he then realizes is Jeff Rose, the show's scriptwriter.
