Are You Bogus?

"Are You Bogus?" is a recurring segment of the Club Mario television series. This segment features Tommy Treehugger and Co-MC interviewing a guest in their titular studio, asking them questions to determine if they are who they claim to be. Usually, the guest is an imposter, often fooling the hosts before recalling something that reveals their ruse. Once their ruse is revealed, Tommy and Co-MC will call the guest "bogus" before asking them to leave the set. The "bogus" guest is often a cast member of the show, such as the Big Kid, who claims to be Santa Claus. "Are You Bogus?" is the most frequent recurring segment in the show, spanning a total of at least thirteen segments, and is similar to the guest star appearances in the original live-action segments of The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!

Additionally, a group of two guests also appear in an unknown segment of the show, though their identities are not currently known.
Notes[edit]
- Joe Piscopo is the only guest featured in "Are You Bogus?" who is not an imposter, though Tommy and Co-MC still refer to him as such.
- Little Richard is the only guest whose true identity is a previous guest, being AJ, who appeared in both the segment for "The Koopas are Coming! The Koopas are Coming!" and earlier in the segment for "Star Koopa." The true identities of all other guests are either cast members of the show or unknown.
- The Club Mario segment for "The Great BMX Race" is the only segment where Tommy and Co-MC do not declare the guest "bogus" at the end of the segment. Instead, a disclaimer appears at the bottom of the screen apologizing to the viewer that the guests are not actually the New Kids on the Block.
