This segment is the Club Mario segment that aired alongside The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! episode "Toad Warriors," replacing the original live-action segment "E.C. The Extra Creepy."
Plot synopsis[edit]
The segment starts with the static clearing to show the Club Mario logo on the TV at its titular studio, with Tommy Treehugger and Co-MC cheering for its appearance. The former then mentions that Club Mario is back on the air, with him and Co-MC introducing themselves to the viewer. Tommy then adds that today is "laid-back day," though also mentions that today's episode is The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! episode "Toad Warriors." He then gives a synopsis for the episode, with Co-MC adding that King Koopa is "up to his old tricks." Co-MC then adds that they have two special guests with them today, the Dude Brothers.
After Crude and Rude greet each other, Rude mentions that he is thinking about opening a Rude Dude Hair Salon, which Crude mentions that it is very "cool," though Rude adds that it is just for "redheads," which Crude finds as "uncool." Rude explains that it is "real Hollywood," explaining that one needs to cut their own hair themselves. Crude tells him that he should not act like that, calling his behavior a joke, with Rude responding that he did not think of it that way. He then asks if he wants a "rude tune," with Crude replying in the affirmative. Rude and Crude begin rapping in unison about how they are singers for Club Mario, in reference to the "Plumber's Rap," the original opening theme song for The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! After finishing their rap, Tommy and Co-MC applaud them, with them explaining how their rap was so "cool." Tommy asks Co-MC what is next on their show, with Co-MC replying that they have a rap in the room and that it is time to check out the cartoon, with the Dude Brothers complimenting him on how "smooth" his rap was.

Notes[edit]
- When giving a synopsis of "Toad Warriors," Tommy refers to the episode as "Toad warrior," this being the copyrighted title for the episode in the United States Copyright Office.
- During the segment, the Dude Brothers sing a rap about how they are singers for Club Mario, which is very similar to the "Plumber's Rap," the original opening theme song of The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! A comparison of the two songs are as follows:
"Plumber's Rap" lines | The Dude Brothers' lines |
---|---|
We're the Mario Brothers, and plumbing's our game |
We're the too rad group, and we're singers for the show |
- For unknown reasons, in the WPXT airing, "The Fire of Hercufleas" incorrectly uses the opening Club Mario segment for this episode as opposed to its corresponding segment.[1]
