Big Reverse Race is a type of bonus challenge in Mario Kart Tour. The goal in these bonus challenges is to race seven opponents to the finish line and come in 1st after starting out in 8th place, midway through the first lap, and with no countdown or Rocket Start advantage. The opponents found in Big Reverse Races and their initial positions are predetermined.

The player can choose their own driver, kart and glider combination instead of being given a set combination to use like in most other bonus challenges. They can also select the speed class, which determines the number of Grand Stars earned upon clearing a Big Reverse Race bonus challenge: one is awarded for clearing it on 50cc, two on 100cc, and three on 150cc or 200cc.

A version of the challenge, named Big Reverse Race vs. 100, was added as part of the game's version 2.14.0 update and was released in the 2023 Winter Tour. In Big Reverse Race vs. 100, players will start in 100th place and the objective is to aim for 1st place within a time limit using a set driver, kart, and glider, unlike the regular Big Reverse Race where players get to choose their setups.

The following table lists Big Reverse Race bonus challenges by course. "Extra" opponents signify drivers that replace a CPU opponent's usual driver when the player uses that character.
