The Jungle Tour was the eighteenth tour of Mario Kart Tour, which began on May 20, 2020 and ended on June 2, 2020. Reflecting its theme around jungles and the Donkey Kong Country series, Dixie Kong made her playable Mario Kart debut and Funky Kong returned after his only Mario Kart playable appearance in Mario Kart Wii, while also adding the Rambi Rider from Mario Kart DS. This was the first tour that did not add any new courses or any new course variants. The menu's background featured Noshi as the landmark for this tour. Despite being themed after Dino Dino Jungle, however, DK Pass appears as the tour's signature course.
Introduced in version 2.1.0, each of the cups' courses and bonus challenges are able to be completed in any order, without the need to complete the previous race beforehand. From this tour, the tier cap has been increased from tier 40 to tier 50.
The Jungle Tour reused the Dry Bones Cup's bonus challenge from the New York Tour for this tour's Shy Guy Cup, the Wendy Cup's bonus challenge from the Tokyo Tour for this tour's Waluigi Cup, and the Dry Bowser Cup and Luigi Cup's bonus challenges from the Paris Tour for this tour's Baby Mario Cup and Pauline Cup. This tour's Bowser Cup bonus challenge was similar to the Roy Cup bonus challenge from the Paris Tour, thought the opponent was Funky Kong in the Offroader instead of Roy in the Koopa Clown.
