In Mario Kart Tour, every driver, kart, and glider has a set of favored and favorite courses. Using one on such a course grants special bonuses, such as more items and frenzies, extra bonus points, or longer combo time. Since version 2.0.0, the list of items for a course that they have as favored or favorite only changes when that course is featured in a tour, with one or more variants of the course receiving favored or favorite status for recently added drivers, karts, or gliders.

Since version 2.6.0, when a driver, kart, or glider reaches a certain level, some favored courses become favorite courses for that item. An * indicates a favored course upgraded to a favorite course after reaching level 3, an ** indicates a favored course upgraded to a favorite course after reaching level 6, and an *** indicates a favored course upgraded to a favorite course after reaching level 8 for High-End items.

This list is exclusively for courses that were introduced to the Mario Kart series in Mario Kart Tour, as well as courses that were first introduced in the Booster Course Pass for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, then added to Mario Kart Tour following its release.
