The Great Sail is a High-End glider in Mario Kart Tour. It was introduced in the Pirate Tour and it became the signature glider of Rosalina (Swimwear) in the Rosalina Tour and Mario (Swimwear) in the 2021 Summer Tour. It is a glider that resembles the sails of a pirate ship. The emblem is located on the bottom sails. The Great Sail increases the chances of getting Bananas from Item Boxes and the number of points awarded for landing hits with them. Four variants of this glider have been introduced: a black-sailed variant, named the Black Great Sail, debuted in the Peach vs. Daisy Tour, a starry pink-sailed variant, named the Starry Great Sail, debuted in the April–May 2021 Sydney Tour, a blue and white variant, named the Wavy Great Sail, debuted in the Sunshine Tour, and a Dolphin-themed variant, named the Dolphin Great Sail, debuted in the Vacation Tour.

Availability[edit]

The Great Sail appears in regular tour pipes, including the All-Clear Pipe, and is a part of the Daily Selects lineup.
