"Finish! (5th – 8th Place)"[1] is a musical theme composed by Soyo Oka for Super Mario Kart, where it plays when the player finishes a race while placing fifth to eighth place. It is an arrangement of "Entrance of the Gladiators" by Julius Fučík.

Super Mario Maker[edit]

In Super Mario Maker, the original version of "Finish! (5th – 8th Place)" plays when the player loses a life as Costume Mario with the Kart Mario costume.
