The Mario Kart Vote[1] was a character poll available from the official Mario Kart: Super Circuit website. It appeared to have run via an Adobe Flash file, though the only archive of said file was captured in 2011.
ResultsEdit
According to the .JSP file that shows the poll results, the selectable characters in the poll appear to have been Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach (listed as "Peach"), Bowser, Wario, Toad, Yoshi, Donkey Kong (listed as "Kong"), and, oddly, Samus. Mario appears to have received 52,604 votes, Yoshi seems to have received 29,350, Toad appears to have gotten 17,557, Donkey Kong appears to have gotten 13,786, Luigi seems to have gotten 13,697, Princess Peach seems to have received 13,283, Bowser appears to have gotten 12,154, and Samus, whose name starts the string, seems to have received zero.
