Melon Mayhem was a Nintendo published Adobe Shockwave game made to promote the release of Mario Party 2 on the Nintendo 64. It could be played from the official Mario Party 2 website.

Gameplay[edit]

The game features 5 pumps in front of a chamber with a glass window. Inside the window is a giant watermelon. One of the pumps will cause the watermelon to explode, causing the player to lose the game. When the player first plays, they are told that they win the first round by choosing 3 pumps in a row without causing the watermelon to explode. When the player accomplishes that, they win a Warp Box. If the player decides to play again, they now have to choose 4 pumps in a row without causing the watermelon to explode. If the player completes that successfully, then they win a Bowser Suit. If the player decides to play again once more, they have to choose 4 out of 5 pumps again, but when they win, the game displays the simple message "Way to go!" effectively ending the game after three rounds.
