Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door is a downloadable slide-puzzle Macromedia Flash game themed after and made to promote Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. It was developed by Nintendo Software Technology Corporation and published in 2004.[1]

Gameplay[edit]

The game consists of a simple 15-piece slide puzzle, where the player is meant to align the pieces in the correct order to form a full picture featuring Mario, Princess Peach, Bowser, a Toad, Kammy Koopa, Hooktail, and Lord Crump in Petal Meadows, with Hooktail's Castle visible in the distance. This image is based on the poster drawn by Masanori Sato. In order to form the full picture, the player must select one of the tiles adjacent to the free space in order to swap it with the free space. At any point, the player can click the ? Block icon in the top right to view a preview of the final puzzle.
