The Bomb Desktop Buddy is a promotional widget created by Nintendo in 2005 to promote WarioWare: Touched!

Features[edit]

Once the program is run, the Bomb bounces onto the screen, flashing whenever hovered over. The user can click on the bomb and drag it around, and by letting go of the bomb while moving the mouse, the bomb can be thrown, where it will bounce around the desktop. If left idle, it will occasionally bounce in place and display a cloud with the WarioWare: Touched! logo above itself, which can be dismissed by clicking the bomb.

By right clicking on the bomb, an options submenu appears, where the user can either enable or disable the sounds of the bomb bouncing around, whether the bomb bounces off the top of the monitor, and if the bomb appears in front of or behind other windows. In addition, by selecting "About", the user is shown a screen with a link to the official WarioWare: Touched! website, as well as information about the program itself.
