History[edit]

Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door[edit]

One of the X-Nauts in the crowd is Johnson.
“Where'd they go?! Huh? You! Johnson! Did you see them? Did anyone?”
Lord Crump, Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door

In Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, Johnson is the name of one of the numerous X-Nauts in the X-Naut platoon. He is called out by Lord Crump after Mario and Goombella escape them at the very beginning of the game, asking if he saw which way they went.

“All hail the glorious count! Do not resist... Submit to his rule. You will love it.”
Johnson, Super Paper Mario

In Super Paper Mario, Johnson is the name of one of the many Koopa Troopas brainwashed by Nastasia to follow Count Bleck. He is seen when Princess Peach tries to escape Castle Bleck during the Chapter 1 intermission, where the Hammer Bro captain sees him and another brainwashed Koopa Troopa, and demands he drop and do push-ups for his forced insubordination. He and the other brainwashed troops attempt to capture Peach shortly thereafter, but she is teleported away by Dimentio.

Paper Mario: Color Splash[edit]

In Paper Mario: Color Splash, Johnson is the name of one of the unseen crewmen of an airship near the Crimson Tower, presumably one of the Shy Guys on board. He failed to perform his task of lifting the anchor after they were done draining the Crimson Tower's paint, thus causing the ship to get stuck and allowing Mario to board and defeat the crewmen.
