Cherie is a Super Paper Mario character that lives on Flipside's first floor. She absolutely adores her boyfriend, but has no idea what his occupation is, as he refuses to tell her. In turn, he has no idea what her age is. Cherie is a talented singer, who will sing after each time speaking to the heroes.

She speaks of a time when her boyfriend went into the beveragarium and did not come back out until night.[1] This may suggest that her boyfriend is Hort, as he frequents the Flipside Arcade inside the beveragarium, and parallels Mort, Hort's Flopside counterpart who appears to have a similar relationship with Cherie's own Flopside counterpart Kerrie.

Tattle[edit]

  • "That's Cherie... She's a lively, up-and-coming singer... She's talented, but it's the bright quality of her voice that makes listeners happy... Everyone thinks she's young, but even her boyfriend doesn't know her true age..."

Notes[edit]

  • In the Japanese version of the script, Cherie briefly suspects her boyfriend of cheating with the beveragarium owner specifically, rather than an unspecified patron.[2]
