List of Star Pieces in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door

This is a list of Star Pieces in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. All 100 collectible Star Pieces are listed here by availability, together with screenshots and Merluvlee's comments. A statistics table is also given at the end of the article. Collecting every Star Piece in a given chapter region in the Nintendo Switch remake unlocks the Art Gallery for that chapter.

Shhwonk Fortress, Poshley Sanctum and the Palace of Shadow are the only locations without any Star Pieces.

Prologue: A Rogue's Welcome[edit]

There are a total of 6 Star Pieces to find in during the Prologue:

Behind the pillar next to the rightmost house in the center city on sublevel 1 of Rogueport Underground.
Behind the big yellow block or the trampoline near the east entrance of sublevel 3 of Rogueport Underground.

In the tree in the northwest corner of the platform with the west entrance pipe of Petal Meadows.

In the first north clump of grass to the east of Petalburg, to Shhwonk Fortress.
Hooktail Castle \| 4 Star Pieces
On a ledge to the left of the flippable stairs on the first floor of Hooktail Castle. Accessible with the yellow block or from the window area on the second floor.
On a high ledge in the room to the right of the flippable stairs on the first floor of Hooktail Castle. Accessible with the purple block near the flippable stairs.
In the right of the area behind the windows on the second floor of Hooktail Castle.
On the east end of the north ledge in the airplane room on the third floor of Hooktail Castle.
Rogueport \| 1 Star Piece
Between the crates and the barrel behind Admiral Bobbery's house.
Rogueport Underground \| 1 Star Piece
Behind the stairs to the east exit of the Pit of 100 Trials room on sublevel 3 of Rogueport Underground.
