Camp Hyrule Puzzle is an HTML-based crossword puzzle available as part of the 2005 iteration of Camp Hyrule. The puzzle was solved by a user named Controller_Freak, who was located in Cabin 6. The puzzle was used as part of a contest, in which the cabin that won received t-shirts.[2]
Details[edit]
The game functioned as a typical crossword puzzle, with the object of the game being to find all 24 words in the puzzle. The words had the possibility of being across, down, or diagonal. Certain words were also written backward. The puzzle appears to have been provided in a similar format to Mario Word-Find, in that the player had to either print the puzzle in order to solve it or draw on it in an image editing program. Seven of the 22 words that the player had to find were related to the Super Mario franchise, though none of the bonus words were related to Super Mario. Said words are listed below in the order they appear in the Puzzle Word List.
- Birdo (across)
- Diddy Kong (down)
- Luigi (across)
- Mario (diagonal and backwards)
- Princess Peach (diagonal)
- Yoshi (down and backwards)
