Gameplay[edit]
The game has two game modes.
Get as many as you can[edit]
Two players choose whether or not to play with yellow or red coins. Once the players' coins are chosen, each player inserts three of their coins at a time, targeting them towards ? Blocks. A "LUCKY COIN CHANCE" occurs when a ? Block enters a player's tray. Once each player uses all of their coins, they count how many coins are in each tray. Whoever has more coins in their tray wins. The game's rules also recommend the player to place character chips in the machine. One player can also play with the aim of getting the higher number of coins and character chips.
Complete your team[edit]
After two players choose between Team Mario (which is represented by the yellow coins and character chips of Mario, Luigi, and Toad) and Team Bowser (which is represented by the red coins and character chips of a Hammer Bro, a Koopa Troopa, and a Goomba), the players target the coins to push in their teams' character chips into their trays. "LUCKY COIN CHANCE"s also occur during this mode. The player who gets all their team's character chips in their tray wins. One player can also play with the aim of getting all the character chips in their tray while getting as few coins as possible.
