Super Donkey Kong Soccer Game is a furoku target game released in 1995 by Shogakukan. The game is themed after Donkey Kong Country, and was made available in an issue of the Shōgaku Ichinensei magazine. Like most furoku games, Super Donkey Kong Soccer Game is made almost entirely out of cardboard.

Details[edit]

The object of the game is to score points via using a rubber band-powered launcher (which is emblazoned with artwork of Diddy Kong) to shoot an orange ball at one of three holes on the back of the game. In order to do so, the player has to launch around the cardboard cutout of Donkey Kong, who functions as the game's goalkeeper. No matter which hole the player shoots the ball into, it will roll to the bottom of the playing field and stop at the goal platform.
