Super Mario Matoate Game is a target game released as furoku in a 1987 issue of the Shōgaku Ichinensei magazine. Like most furoku games, Super Mario Matoate Game appears to be made almost entirely out of cardboard. Multiple characters from Super Sentai appear on the game's box, though the game itself does not appear to be themed after the series in any capacity. The top half of the game features various pieces of artwork depicting Mario, a Red Koopa, Bowser, and Princess Peach.

The game features a lever that seems to be connected to rubber bands, as well as a piece of cardboard emblazoned with artwork of Mario doing a handstand. In front of the pocket that this piece is placed in, the game's playing field depicts Mario jumping with his arms above his head. It appears that the player is intended to shoot this piece of cardboard at a separate piece depicting a Goomba.
