Crystal Taps,[1] also known as crystal switches[2] or diamonds,[3] are objects in Super Mario 64 and Super Mario 64 DS. Five of them appear in Wet-Dry World,[4] as well as two more in the underwater town. When the player character touches a Crystal Tap, the water level either lowers or rises to that Crystal Tap's level.
