The title for It's Me, Mario! Stop Motion Shorts

It's Me, Mario! Stop Motion Shorts is a series of one-minute-long stop-motion videos depicting Mario engaging in various activities, released as part of the My Mario series. The first three shorts were uploaded on August 26, 2025, on the Japanese My Mario website, the Japanese and European Nintendo YouTube channels, the Japanese Nintendo Instagram account, and the Play Nintendo YouTube channel. The subsequent shorts have been released since November 18, 2025.[1] The shorts were produced by dwarf studios and directed by Masahito Kobayashi.[2]

This makes it curly and zigzag-shaped until Mario is able to turn it back to his regular shape. When Mario walks away from the mirror, he sneezes and his mustache becomes curly again without him realizing. [1]
Thumbnail for Episode 2 of It's Me, Mario! Stop Motion Shorts "Top Hat" Mario looks for his cap and finds it on a very high ? Block. As he cannot reach it with normal jumps, he decides to do some Wall Jumps on Brick Blocks, and he reaches it. While he celebrates by jumping, his cap becomes stuck on the ? Block again. [2]
Thumbnail for Episode 3 of It's Me, Mario! Stop Motion Shorts "Shell Games" Mario finds a Green Shell and kicks it. After kicking it a second time, the shell hits a ? Block and goes in the opposite direction, chasing Mario. When it hits him, Mario successfully lands a backflip, but the shell then comes back and hits him a second time, making him spin. [3]
It's Me, Mario! Stop Motion Shorts episode 4 "Making Melodies" November 18, 2025 Mario finds some Note Blocks and begins jumping on them to make sounds. He brings in Yoshi and Toad to make music with him. They then play the first few notes of "Ground BGM" from Super Mario Bros. on the Note Blocks together. Afterwards, they play the first few notes of the "Main Theme" from Super Mario 64 before jumping high into the air while an arrangement of "Course Clear" from Super Mario 64 plays. [4]
It's Me, Mario! Stop Motion Shorts episode 5 "Hide and Seek" December 16, 2025 Mario, Yoshi, and Toad play a game of hide and seek, with Mario as the seeker and Yoshi and Toad as the hiders. Mario first goes to an area with several pipes and trees containing fruit. Yoshi, revealed to be hiding in the blue pipe, occasionally pops up to eat fruit from the trees before being caught by Mario. Mario and Yoshi then begin to search an area filled with various mushrooms. Toad, who is hidden among the mushrooms, almost gets caught by Yoshi before he and Mario decide to search elsewhere. The camera zooms in on Toad shushing the viewer. [5]

  • Toad using his mushroom cap to camouflage among mushrooms in "Hide and Seek" is reminiscent of Toad's introductory scene in the film.
