"Mario Kart 7 Road Hog" is the sixth episode of The Play Nintendo Show on Play Nintendo's YouTube channel. This episode covers Mario Kart 7.
Plot synopsis[edit]
Andrew Trego flies out of Izzy's warp pipe and introduces himself and Izzy. Andrew hits a ? Block and reveals the subject of the "Andrew and Izzy's Top 5" segment to be the top 5 Mario Kart 7 items that will get them to class on time. Andrew says this episode is "driving him crazy" and pretends to drive across the room multiple times.
For number 5, Izzy is dancing at a party and says it is time to "jive with number 5". Andrew says the item chosen is "shocking" and warns the viewer that there are a lot of puns in this episode. The item chosen is the Lightning as when the viewer is in a crowded hallway and can not get to class on time, they can use the item to shrink everyone to get them out of the way.
For number 4, Izzy hears the doorbell and realizes the pizza is here, which he likes with extra flies. Izzy says to move on to the next pick while he gets the door. The item chosen is the Banana Peel, because while people might see it coming, Andrew says when it works, it is just like the classics. Donkey Kong swings by on a vine holding a banana, and tosses it to Andrew when he tells him to "-nana me". Izzy warns Andrew of the many bananas flying towards him.
For number 3, Izzy is seen underwater with goggles and a snorkel. Izzy states he can not believe what he sees, including a goldfish that is shaped like the number 3. The item chosen is the Super Leaf. Izzy tells Andrew to look at his leaves, to which Andrew says while his leaves are great, they do not allow him to grow a tanooki tail. The item was chosen because the viewer can use it to knock their friends out of the way and having a tail will make you look like the "teacher's pet".
For number 2, Izzy says the Casa de Nintendo has become a zoo ever since all the bananas shows up, and says to go to the next pick after he hears a gorilla. The Super Star is chosen because it has a theme song, and the viewer can roller skate down a crowded hallway carrying a stack of whipped cream pies. Andrew says to make sure they do it before the song ends.
For number 1, Izzy reads Plant Life and says being quiet in the library is always the first rule. The item chosen is the Lucky Seven, as the viewer has one item for every occasion. Some examples are shown: if Todd is getting in the way, use a banana peel. If the gym teacher dropped baseballs down the hallway, use the Super Star. If the principal wants to get the viewer's autograph because they are "awesome", use the Blooper. The latter of which Andrew states happened to him, causing Izzy to sarcastically compliment him.
With the ranking concluded, Andrew asks the viewer what they're items would be by commenting. Andrew calls Reggie Fils-Aimé, who says this review has got to be quick, as his next race is about to start. After Mario Kart 7 is reviewed, Andrew crumples up the script and tosses it towards Izzy, but before he could eat it, a Lakitu carries it away. Andrew then encourages the viewer to visit the Play Nintendo website and vote in the "Which Lucky Seven item do you think is the luckiest?" poll. Andrew then shows a drawing of Izzy riding his luckiest item: the Spiny Shell, which Andrew does not think that is how he is supposed to use the item, but thinks it should go on the wall anyways, so he hangs it on the wall with help from a Hammer Bro's hammer. A dance party then begins.
Andrew then reads comments from the previous episode.

Andrew responds with the latter comment with green as it reminds him of Izzy. Andrew says if pizza becomes a color, he would change his mind. The video ends with Izzy telling the viewer to like and subscribe.
