Frizzy is a sock puppet created by Andrew Trego who appears in episodes of The Play Nintendo Show. He is a sock with blue hair and red and blue stripes at the bottom. His right eye is a small purple button while his left is a larger green button. In The Play Nintendo Show, he has a series of segments called Frizzy's Silly amiibo Theater, where he uses amiibo for his stage plays. He often compliments his creator.
In most of his appearances, Frizzy is controlled by Andrew, but he is still sentient even without him.

The Play Nintendo Show[edit]
Frizzy first appears in the episode "Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire Terry Takeover: Part 1". When Izzy overslept and missed the show, Andrew quickly improvises by creating a sock puppet. He names him by placing a piece of paper with "Fr" written on it next to Izzy's name tag. Since Izzy is gone, the "Andrew and Izzy's Top 5" segment was renamed to "Terry and Frizzy's Top 5" for the episode.
In "Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire Terry Takeover: Part 2", Frizzy and Terry return as Izzy is "sick with Piranhapox". Later in the episode, since Frizzy is a sock puppet, he imagines himself in the Alola region to be a shoe type.
In the first episode covering Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS, Frizzy makes a brief appearance when Andrew accidentally finds him in a cup he was about to drink from.
In "Special Report!", Frizzy is the street reporter because Andrew and Jenna's mother assumed he was garbage. Frizzy would have told the viewer how to use their My Nintendo points, but the garbage truck turns on the street he is in. For the rest of the video, Frizzy is only seen running away from the truck.
In "Nintendo Selects", before the ranking starts, Frizzy is seen inside the funnel of a train Izzy is riding in outer space passing by Jupiter.
In "Zooming Around Nintendo HQ with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe!", Frizzy tells a joke about Andrew to Terry and two other Nintendo of America employees that none of them understand, which makes everyone laugh.
In "Minecraft: Nintendo Switch Edition, NBA Playgrounds & Fast RMX", when Jenna, Izzy, and Worthington are bored, Frizzy suggests they do something silly with his amiibo collection, referencing the Frizzy's Silly amiibo Theater segments. Later, he wins a round of Fast RMX against a cardboard cutout of Andrew.
In "Going on Tour with Nintendo's 2017 Summer of Play Tour", Frizzy (who Jenna thinks Andrew is crazy enough to bring) wears a mustache as a disguise, claiming if he did not wear it, there would be tens of people mobbing them. At Nintendo's 2017 Summer of Play Tour, he asks attendees questions and to do impressions, one of which did an impression of him. Eventually, Andrew needs a free hand to play ARMS, and Frizzy wants to talk to more people, so the two of them part ways.
In "Playing Ever Oasis During a Power Outage!", when Andrew wonders what their show would be like if it was taken over by dark chaos energy, Frizzy appears on an old television replacing Andrew and another sock puppet named Rizzy replaces Izzy.
In "Splatoon 2 Time Traveling", Andrew sends Frizzy on a jetpack into the future via the Time Thing 7200.
In "The Play Nintendo Show News" segment in the episode "Hey! Pikmin Awesomeness", a giant Frizzy escapes a giant Worthington in a city to avoid his bath.
In "Miitopia Gets 5 Thumbs Up!", when Andrew wears the RPG Cap of Coolness, he, Izzy, Jenna, and Worthington lose in an RPG-styled battle against Andrew when he choses "charm".
In "Super Mario Odyssey Space Exploration", Frizzy is the pilot of the S.S. Worthington, making sharp turns and hitting a space bump.
In "Nintendo Holiday Wish List", Andrew ducks to avoid Frizzy, who has time traveled from the past riding a jetpack.
Ask Izzy[edit]
Frizzy appears in two segments of Ask Izzy. In "Izzy Has a Band!?", he is the accordionist of the "Thunderous Thwomp Things". In "What's Up?", Frizzy is one of Andrew's things Izzy tied up to balloons.
Frizzy's Silly amiibo Theater[edit]
Frizzy portrays every character in all the episodes of Frizzy's Silly amiibo Theater. There are two other episodes in the series that are included in the show's playlist. In "Expert Unboxing with Frizzy: amiibo Edition", Frizzy asks Beary for help unboxing Goomba and Koopa Troopa amiibos. He is eventually able to break through the plastic to get the Goomba amiibo. In "Frizzy's New Game - Can You Guess the amiibo?", Frizzy creates a rigged game for Jenna about guessing which amiibo is in which bucket.

Frizzy appears in multiple activities on the Play Nintendo website in the background of activities relating to episodes of Frizzy's Silly amiibo Theater.
