"Expert Unboxing with Frizzy: amiibo Edition" is a segment from The Play Nintendo Show episode "Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions" that was reuploaded as it's own standalone video on July 12, 2018. Despite it's initial irrelevance to the Frizzy's Silly amiibo Theater series, the video was included in the compilation video, "Hilarious Nintendo amiibo Stories in a Silly Sock Puppet Theater", as the eighth episode under the title "Expert Unboxing".[3] The segment is also included in the Frizzy's Silly amiibo Theater playlist.[4]
Plot synopsis[edit]
After a title card of Frizzy wearing a hat and monocle on a rocking chair next to a fireplace, Frizzy introduces himself as the viewer's best friend. He introduces the Goomba and Koopa Troopa amiibos and marvels at them before smelling the Goomba amiibo, saying it smells good. Frizzy tries opening the amiibos, but is not successful, so he calls Beary for help. Beary tears apart the Koopa Troopa amiibo's packaging as Frizzy breaks through the plastic to get the Goomba amiibo. Frizzy calls Beary "ferocious". Frizzy declares the amiibos "expertly unboxed" and he and Beary wave bye to the viewer.
In the standalone upload, the video ends with an end card with Mario on a red background with "Ground BGM" playing.
In the compilation video, part of the ending is cut off with an end card with a subscribe button next to emojis and drawings.
