Worthington (originally referred to as Whiny Worthington) is Andrew's robot butler and a recurring character in The Play Nintendo Show.

History[edit]

The Play Nintendo Show[edit]

Worthington first appears in "YO-KAI WATCH 2: Bony Spirits & YO-KAI WATCH 2: Fleshy Souls". When Andrew compares the Yo-kai Whisper to a butler, he states that if he is around, he would not need a Whiny Worthington. Worthington arrives with tea and apologizes for one of the teacups being cold. Andrew groans and walks away. Later, Worthington gives Izzy his birthday cake and apologizes for only being able to find one candle.

In "Mario Party Star Rush Celebration!", Andrew wishes Bowser's boss fight in the game is as cool as Worthington. At the end of the episode, Worthington attends the party holding a screen with Reggie Fils-Aimé on it.

In the first episode covering Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS, Worthington makes a cameo during the dance party, which is a compilation of clips from all the dance parties from the past episodes.

In "Happy New Year from The Play Nintendo Show!", Andrew and Izzy modify Worthington's head into the "Party Machine 2000", which concerns Jenna. After Andrew makes a joke, Worthington compliments it, confirming Jenna's suspicions.

In "Nintendo Selects", a flashback is shown of Andrew and Izzy poking Worthington while he is sleeping like what happens to Luigi in Mario & Luigi: Dream Team. Andrew realizes Worthington is unplugged, causing the duo to start over.

In the second episode covering Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS, Worthington introduces the hosts as the three of them are busy making levels. To do this, Worthington switches to "Worthington Vision" and describes the hosts as statistics for them are shown.

In "Minecraft: Nintendo Switch Edition, NBA Playgrounds & Fast RMX", Worthington suggests he, Izzy, Jenna, and Frizzy play math games and solve monochromatic puzzles to cure their case of COW TOD (Clueless On What To Obviously Do), which nobody wants to do.

In "Going on Tour with Nintendo's 2017 Summer of Play Tour", Worthington and Izzy stay home while Andrew and Jenna go to Nintendo's 2017 Summer of Play Tour. Worthington vacuums while Izzy is bored.

In "Playing Ever Oasis During a Power Outage!", Worthington is mentioned as the third individual Izzy would choose to go into a dungeon with. The first and second are Jenna and Frizzy respectively while the fourth is Beary.

In "Splatoon 2 Time Traveling", Worthington gives Andrew cake via the Time Thing 1200.

In "The Play Nintendo Show News" segment in the episode "Hey! Pikmin Awesomeness", a giant Worthington attempts to give a giant Frizzy a bath, but Frizzy escapes.

In "Miitopia Gets 5 Thumbs Up!", when Andrew wears the RPG Cap of Coolness, he, Izzy, Jenna, and Frizzy lose in an RPG-styled battle against Andrew when he choses "charm".

While Worthington does not appear in "Super Mario Odyssey Space Exploration", a giant spacecraft resembling him known as the S.S. Worthington is the main setting of the episode.

In "Nintendo Holiday Wish List", Worthington attends the dance party at the end of the episode.

Ask Izzy[edit]

In the Ask Izzy segment, Izzy Has a Band!?", Worthington is the pianist of a band known as the "Thunderous Thwomp Things".
