"Goomba Scavenger Hunt Ep 2 Can You Find All The Goombas?" is the fifth episode of Scavenger Hunts for Kids on Play Nintendo's YouTube channel. It is the sequel to the first episode.
Plot synopsis[edit]
Jordan introduces various types of Goombas, before introducing herself and stating she made a scavenger hunt based on what she believes to be the grumpiest enemies in the Mario universe. The first Goomba on the list is a Goomba wearing a hard hat, prompting her to play Super Mario Odyssey and go to New Donk City. There, she goes to the Construction Site to find Goombas with yellow construction helmets. Jordan then states she created another scavenger hunt about Goombas, and encourages the viewer to subscribe to the Play Nintendo channel if they want to find more Goombas with her.
The next Goombas on the list are Mini Goombas. Jordan decides to go to the Sand Kingdom as she thinks the kingdom is "full of surprises". She goes through the kingdom and talks to a Tostarenan, who tells her that Bowser and Princess Peach were here. Jordan wonders what they were looking for, thinking Mini Goombas were the answer. Afterwards, they encounter some Mini Goombas and defeat them. Jordan then enters the Tostarena Ruins and defeats more Goombas, before crossing them off her list.
The next thing on the list is a hint, reading "Psst! Look up!" Jordan looks up to see a paper airplane. The paper airplane unfolds to reveal the names of three Goombas: Goombella, Professor Frankly, and Paragoomba. This prompts her to play Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. In Rogueport, after pointing out the Bob-ombs in pirate attire, Jordan spots Goombella and Lord Crump. Jordan calls Lord Crump rude after calling Goombella a "nosy book nerd", and wonders if Goombella could be friends with Mario. Jordan then recognizes Goombella and realizes she was on the scavenger hunt list. The video cuts to Mario and Goombella entering Professor Frankly's house. Jordan asks the viewer if they think Frankly is too old to join Mario and Goombella, but realizes he is trying to remember the latter's name. This makes Jordan think she can cross Frankly off the list. The gameplay cuts to Rogueport Underground, where Mario, Goombella, and Frankly encountering a Goomba, Spiked Goomba, and a Paragoomba: the last Goomba on the hint. Jordan then proceeds to fight the Goombas as Professor Frankly teaches Mario how to deal with them.
After the fight ends, Jordan reveals the next Goomba on the list: the Cat Goomba. This prompts her to play Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury. In Super Bell Hill, Jordan climbs a tree, but can not find a Goomba there. She then reaches the wooden bridge and encounters a Cat Goomba. After defeating it, Jordan continues on the bridge, defeating more Cat Goombas while mimicking a cat.
The next Goomba on the list is an Ice Skate Goomba. Jordan decides to go to Sunshine Seaside as she thinks everything is not as they seem in this game, prompting her to go somewhere unexpected. After defeating some Chargin' Chucks, she destroys a Goomba statue and finds a Goomba Mask. Jordan decides to consider Mario wearing a Goomba Mask as the bonus Goomba of the scavenger hunt.
Jordan decides to go to Snowball Park, as she thinks it is a better idea to look somewhere where there is snow. She then finds a Skating Goomba, and continues through the course to find three more.
After taking damage from one of the Goombas, Jordan reveals the final Goomba on the list: the Goomba Tower. This prompts her to play Super Mario Party Jamboree. She plays Paratroopa Flight School, where Mario and Luigi are carrying Bowser. After delivering Bowser, Mario and Luigi fly towards a Goomba Tower. They pick them up and carry the tower to its destination. Jordan then declares the scavenger hunt finished, and wonders if there are any Chef Goombas before saying bye to the viewer.

Notable mistakes and errors[edit]
- While in Paratroopa Flight School, Jordan mistakes a hill for a tree when encouraging Mario and Luigi to dodge it.
