"Nintendo Switch Lite Gameplay with Relaxing Yule Log Fireplace" is a promotional ASMR video published on Nintendo of America's official YouTube channel as part of the "Sights & Sounds" series in 2019. The video features about 30 minutes of gameplay footage of the Nintendo Switch version of The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, in addition to Super Mario Odyssey. The games are played by a woman in a cabin in front of a fireplace.

Synopsis[edit]

At the start of the video, the video's protagonist walks up to the front of the cabin while carrying firewood. She enters, and the camera lingers on a metal owl outside her door for a moment. The video then cuts to the interior of the cabin, where the woman places the wood in the fireplace. She then lights the fire with a match, and then pours herself a cup of tea. The footage then pans from the fireplace to her Christmas tree. Following this, the woman brings her tea over to her couch, sits down, and begins playing The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening on a yellow Nintendo Switch Lite.

What follows is about 14 minutes of mostly unbroken gameplay footage, which is interspersed with short clips showing the woman playing from the opposite angle, in addition to one of her Christmas tree. After this, the woman gets up from the couch, picks up her tea, and walks away. The video fades to black, and then a shot of the exterior of the cabin is shown. Inside, the woman makes herself a sandwich, brings it back to her couch, and begins playing Super Mario Odyssey. What follows is another 14 minutes of mostly unbroken gameplay footage, which is also interspersed with short clips of the woman playing from the opposite angle. The woman is playing in the Snow Kingdom, and completes the majority of the kingdom's objectives before setting sail in the Odyssey. The video then fades to a shot of her fireplace. The camera pans upward, showing a stocking with Mario's emblem.
