"Rebuffing the Ruined Dragon",[2] also known as "Ruined Dragon Battle",[3] is a musical theme composed by Shiho Fujii for Super Mario Odyssey, where it plays during the boss battle against the Ruined Dragon in the Ruined Kingdom and its painting rematch in the Mushroom Kingdom. It is a dramatic march that alternates between brass and string lead instrumentation.

Super Mario Odyssey marks the first appearance of "Rebuffing the Ruined Dragon". The theme is briefly quoted in "Eye to Eye with the Ruined Dragon", which plays during the cutscene where Bowser commands the Ruined Dragon to attack the Odyssey. Both tracks are also included in the official Super Mario Odyssey Original Soundtrack album and in the Nintendo Music app.
