| Platform(s) | Nintendo Sound Clock: Alarmo |
Super Mario Odyssey is a theme for Nintendo Sound Clock: Alarmo based on the game of the same name. The theme is one of five themes available by default without an additional download and the only Super Mario theme that is available by default.
When set, the Super Mario Odyssey theme shows the time in the modern Super Mario typeface. The set alarm is shown on a sliver of the world map. Mario and Cappy walk around the screen, moving relative to where the user is located in front of the device. Between the set bedtime and the upcoming alarm, Mario lies on his back sleeping.
If the user has the hourly chime enabled, each hour Mario will run on screen and jump into a ? Block the number of times corresponding to the hour, collecting Coins, and sometimes a Heart. If the user has sleepy sounds enabled, Alarmo will play music from Moon Kingdom's Honeylune Ridge for five minutes when the user goes to bed after the set bedtime. If the user is still in bed after one hour has passed since the set alarm, the alarm stops, playing the sound effect and voice clip of Mario being defeated.
