The Super Mario Galaxy Movie collection
UNIQLO is a clothing brand based in Japan. In addition to their locations in Japan, UNIQLO has locations in Hong Kong and the United States, all of which have released clothing lines themed after Super Mario-related material beginning in 2019.
Clothing collections[edit]
In 2019, UNIQLO released their first Super Mario-themed clothing line, which was titled "Super Mario Family Museum". This line was themed after the broader Super Mario franchise. Later that same year, UNIQLO released "Mario Kart Friendship", a clothing line themed after the Mario Kart series. This line had the most unique shirts out of all of the lines at ten. A few months later, UNIQLO ran a clothing line themed after the Super Mario Bros. 35th Anniversary, which was titled "Super Mario 35th". This line was themed mostly after Mario's evolution over the course of his history. Five years later, UNIQLO re-released select Super Mario-themed shirts as part of their UT Archives line, though three new shirts were also included. A year later, UNIQLO ran their most recent promotions; one themed after The Super Mario Galaxy Movie (which will begin on March 30), and another themed after the 2026 event "Super Mario: Run to the Goal". The latter is exclusive to Hong Kong.

- When the Super Mario Family Museum shirts were released, if one was to purchase a shirt at a UNIQLO location in Japan, they would receive a free shopping bag featuring an 8-bit sprite of Mario.
- Additionally, during this period, the UNIQLO store in Shinsaibashi was lit up nightly with 8-bit Super Mario-themed designs, including that of a ? Block.
- Most of Nintendo's collaborations with UNIQLO appear to be exclusive to Japan; The Super Mario Galaxy Movie's line of themed shirts is the only line to be hosted on UNIQLO's American website.
