Promotions[edit]

Yoplait's first promotion themed after the Super Mario franchise took place in 2007. For this promotion, select tubes of Go-Gurt were themed after Mario Party DS. Each tube featured two activities based on minigames from the Mario Party series. Go-Gurt would later also run a contest themed after Super Mario Party in 2018, and release a 20-pack of tubes themed after The Super Mario Galaxy Movie in 2026.

In 2014, Go-Gurt's European equivalent called "Frubes" ran a contest themed after the Super Mario franchise. For this promotion, participants were to enter the code on the inside of their Frubes package on the promotion's official website to see if they had won one of the sets of prizes. First place won a Nintendo 2DS and four Super Mario games for the system, second place received a Mario-themed gym bag, a Nintendo 2DS, and Mario Kart 7, and third place won various pieces of merchandise, such as a Mario figurine, a sticker sheet, and a keyring. A series of activity sheets titled Super Mario Activity Sheet were also available to download from the site.

In 2026, Yoplait released a package of yogurt cups themed after The Super Mario Galaxy Movie. The package contains four cups in total, two of which are strawberry-flavored and two of which are berry-flavored. In addition, the back of the package features an activity titled "Yoshi's Egg Hunt", in which the participant is tasked with finding all of Yoshi's Eggs on the package, which are mixed in with other items and characters (specifically Lumas) from the film. There are ten eggs in total.
