Acquire Corp. is a Japanese video game development studio and subsidiary of Kadowawa Corporation based in Chiyoda, Tokyo. Founded on December 6, 1994, the studio is known for its Tenchu, Way of the Samurai, and Octopath Traveler series. In October 2024, Acquire was revealed to be the developer of Mario & Luigi: Brothership,[2] making it their first game based on a Nintendo franchise, as well as the first Mario & Luigi title not developed by AlphaDream, who filed for bankruptcy on October 1, 2019.[3]

Originally an independent company, Acquire was acquired by GungHo Online Entertainment in 2011,[4] who then sold it to Kadowawa in 2024.[5]
