Pure West Music is a Canadian music-publishing company founded in 1994 by Paul Koffman and Tim Foy.[1] Pure West mainly focuses on music for children's television series and movies.[1] One of the releases the company worked on was the Donkey Kong Country television series, with all music for the show being created by Pure West.[2] The official Pure West website originally featured three demos of music from the show: "Donkey Kong Theme", "Barrel Chase", and "Monkey Business Transition";[3] however, the last two were removed.
