Gap (clothing brand)
Gap is a multinational clothing brand founded in 1969. In 2023 and 2026, Gap partnered with Nintendo to release lines of clothing themed after the Super Mario franchise.
Clothing lines[edit]
The first promotion, which was titled "Get the Item!", was held by Gap in 2023. The promotion was themed after the general Super Mario franchise. In addition to clothes being released, select Premium Outlet shopping centers (which carried the clothes) featured special decorations for the promotion. Among these were a large standee featuring artwork of the promotion, in addition to an area where the participant could either take a photo inside of a large Warp Pipe or a ? Block containing a Super Mushroom. The promotion was held from November 10, 2023 to January 21, 2024. Three years later, GapKids released a line of clothing themed after The Super Mario Galaxy Movie. The clothing collection became available on April 6, 2026.
