Shout! Factory (now known as Shout! Studios) is a North American home video distributor founded on April 19, 2002.[1] The company specializes in releases of previously released television series and films. In 2005, Shout! Factory signed a deal with DIC Entertainment to release their shows in DVD sets, which included their cartoons based on the Super Mario franchise.[2] Shout! Factory would hold this license up until 2012.
