"Nintendo Girls Club: Bitesize: Episode 7 - Yoshi! (with Mandy)" is the seventh episode of Nintendo Girls Club: Bitesize, a series of short videos published on the official Nintendo UK YouTube channel. The video is hosted by Mandy, and is themed around Yoshi.
Synopsis[edit]
Mandy states that she has loved Yoshi since she was six years old, and that she first played a Yoshi game on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. She describes what the system looks like for "kids born after the year 2000". She states that the controller only had six buttons, and jokes that "we've come a long way since then". Gameplay footage of Yoshi's New Island is then shown, as she states that she enjoys the game.
She then states that she is stuck on World 5-3 and that she refuses to use the Golden Wings. She says that she feels she is "better than that", and that ice levels are simply difficult. She states that she used to be able to beat levels such as these, and that her fingers are at fault. She then says that she has changed her Nintendo 3DS's theme to Yoshi's Springtime Siesta. She then provides a brief tutorial on how to do this, during which footage of each action she mentions is shown. She mentions that Yoshi plush toys and Yoshi amiibo are available to purchase.
Mandy then asks that viewers tell her what their favorite Nintendo character is. She states that if viewers use the #HeartNintendo hashtag, their post may be put on the "magic wall". Footage of Tomadachi Life is then shown, with a group of Miis being asked "Who has a soft spot for Yoshi?". Mandy then states that anyone who says that they do not like Yoshi is a "flat-out liar".
