"Nintendo The Super Mario Bros. Movie - Q&A with the Cast! Pt.4 | JAKKS Pacific" is a promotional YouTube video published on the official Jakks Pacific YouTube channel in 2023. The video is themed after The Super Mario Bros. Movie, and, like the previous three videos, features Chris Pratt, Charlie Day, and Jack Black. Black and Day answer questions posed to them by Pratt, each of which involve the film in some way.
Synopsis[edit]
Like the previous video, Pratt asks this video's question to both Jack Black and Charlie Day. The question is "Would you rather be slapped by Donkey Kong or stomped on by Bowser?". As Pratt states the latter half of the question, the camera focuses on a Bowser figurine on the table in front of them. Black says that the question is easy, in addition to stating that he believes all three of them would give the same answer.
Black states that one would rather be slapped by Donkey Kong, stating that one would likely not survive being stomped on by Bowser. Black then says that this also works in reverse; if Bowser and Donkey Kong's roles were swapped in this scenario, he states that he would still prefer to be slapped rather than stomped on. He states that one would see the slap coming, and, while the slap could knock the person being slapped unconscious, it would not kill them.
Black then says that being stomped on could potentially be deadly, which the others agree with. Pratt says that that is a good answer, and then asks Day if he is going to give the same answer as Black, which Charlie confirms, stating that he would prefer a slap from any character in the film over being stomped on. Black then says that he also doesn't want to get slapped, which Day agrees with.
