Paratroopa Flight School
Paratroopa Flight School is a mode found in Super Mario Party Jamboree and Super Mario Party Jamboree – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Jamboree TV, located in Motion Island. This mode is hosted by a red Koopa Paratroopa.
Description[edit]
Paratroopa Flight School utilizes motion controls, having players moving their Joy-Cons as if they are wings to move their character around, who is wearing Koopa Paratroopa wings. This mode can be played with 1-2 players; Mario and Luigi are the only available characters and are controlled by P1 and P2 respectively, no matter which characters were selected before accessing this mode.
Paratroopa Flight School features three sub-modes: Sky Battle, Koopa Paratroopa Taxi, and Free Flight.
Sky Battle[edit]
In Sky Battle, two players compete to try to gather the most Para-Biddybuds in 120 seconds. Players can retrieve Para-Biddybuds by flying near them, with some Para-Biddybuds flying around in groups. Gathered Para-Biddybuds trail behind the player, which can be stolen by their opponent if they are nearby. If played in single-player, the opponent will be controlled by a CPU.
Koopa Paratroopa Taxi[edit]
In Koopa Paratroopa Taxi, two players must cooperate to carry one or more passengers to a certain location on the map. The players must ensure the passengers are balanced to avoid dropping them. This sub-mode has three difficulties: Easy, Normal, and Difficult, with higher difficulties adding more passengers while providing additional time to transport them. When the time runs out, the players will receive a ranking depending on how many passengers were transported. Passengers include Toad, Princess Peach, Bowser, Spike, Petey Piranha, a Goomba Tower, a Bob-omb, a Hammer Bro and Boomerang Bro, and a Gold Goomba Tower.
Free Flight[edit]
In Free Flight, players can freely fly around the map without any main objectives or time limit. The player can interact with various features of the island, such as lighting up a lighthouse, floating high up from a volcano eruption, flying with a group of Para-Biddybuds, and drawing a picture of a heart in 180 seconds. There are also 100 coins scattered around the map for the player to find, and collecting them all causes the player's wings to sparkle.
