Bowser Live
Bowser Live is a mode introduced in Super Mario Party Jamboree – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Jamboree TV, accessible in Jamboree TV. The mode takes advantage of the Nintendo Switch 2's microphone and camera.
Gameplay[edit]
The mode starts out with various audience members, including Toads, Yoshis, various minions, and a Talking Flower cheering for Bowser. When he appears, Bowser Jr. explains the rules (if the player requests it). The game allows up to four players, who are split into two teams: red and blue. Unlike with other modes, a blue, green, and purple Toad represent CPU opponents.
Minigames[edit]
Minigames are divided in two categories: Camera, which can only be used with an accessible camera, and Microphone. When a minigame ends, Bowser will press a red button to announce which team won. After two minigames, Bowser will lead the players back to the audience through pipes and the teams have to praise him at his command using the microphone and movements in front of the camera, if it has been enabled. The team with the most points after the two minigames and the cheering round wins the game, while Bowser will attack the losing team by spitting fire at them. If the game ends in a draw, both teams win unless neither team contributed at all, in which case both teams lose and Bowser breathes fire at both of them.
Camera minigames[edit]
- Hitting it Rich!: Each team has to gather as many coins as they can from ? Blocks within 15 seconds.
- Goombalancing Act: The game involves the players holding a pedestal on their heads and having to stack as many Goombas as possible without letting them drop.
- Talking Flower Says: Players have to follow the Talking Flower's orders based on the Mario or Luigi caps that they are wearing.
Microphone minigames[edit]
- Bowser Beats: Players must use the microphone to clap when Bowser orders them to do so.
- Bowser Chicken: Each team must shout to move a vehicle down the line, but stop it as close as they can to Bowser.
- Speak Up, Junior!: Players must guide Bowser Jr. in his Junior Clown Car to collect coins. Using the microphone moves him up, and he floats down on his own if there is no input.
