Tubs,[1] also referred to as wooden boats[1] or simply boats,[1] appear as helpful objects in Yoshi's Story. Found only in the final section of Neuron Jungle whilst floating in the water, tubs have the appearance of wooden wash basins, and can be jumped in and ridden by Yoshis in order to cross the (still swimmable) pond while being able to more easily avoid territorial frogs. The direction the tub will be floating to depends on which side of the tub the Yoshi is standing on, which also tilts lower due to the shift in weight balance. Tubs cannot pass through certain sections of the river under platforms that are too low or blocked off by sea cacti, coercing the Yoshi to depart the tub and continue either on foot or by swimming underwater.
