Fune[1] are objects in Super Mario Bros. Wonder. They are large ships made of rows of green and gray blocks. Fune feature a black flag with Bowser's emblem. A cannon positioned on the stern of Fune can be jumped on to fire large red bomb projectiles. These bombs can defeat enemies and destroy Rock Blocks and certain terrain; they cannot harm players. The blocks of Fune are able to be destroyed by Seeker Bullet Bills and Spike Balls from Spikes. After a few seconds, the destroyed blocks regenerate.
A Fune first appears broken in the lava beneath Evade the Seeker Bullet Bills!'s Wonder Flower. The course's Wonder Effect reconstructs the Fune, after which it sails rightward on the lava. When the Wonder Seed is collected, the cannon becomes unusable, and the Fune slowly sinks into the lava.
After the Missile Meg section of the course The Final Test Wonder Gauntlet, a Fune emerges from lava, sailing until it is forced off-screen.
