Coin blasters are variants of Bill Blasters which shoot coins and flower coins rather than Bullet Bills. They are distinguished by their gold coloration and a yellow coin emblem on their base rather than a skull. Like Bill Blasters, they appear as one-sided cannons, and are aimed both horizontally and at 45 degree angles. Some are also suspended from the ceiling upside down, aiming downwards at an angle. They appear only in the Super Mario Bros. Wonder level Bonus: Coins Galore!, where they shoot bursts of 4 coins and 1 flower coin at a time, in sync with the level's background music. Most coin blasters in the level only fire once, however some are set to fire multiple bursts.

In Super Mario Maker, Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS, and Super Mario Maker 2, coins can be placed into Bill Blasters and Bull's-Eye Blasters which will cause them to fire in bursts of 5 coins at a time, similarly to the dedicated coin blasters.

Incidentally, Bill Blasters can become gold-colored in New Super Mario Bros. 2 when a Gold Ring is passed through. These Bill Blasters fire Gold Bullet Bills which create trails of coins, but they do not fire coins themselves.
