Dr. Crygor no Kenkyū Nikki is an online diary allegedly maintained by Dr. Crygor available from the official Japanese WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$! website. Like the other online diaries, it was maintained over the course of two months, beginning on February 28, 2003, and ending on April 25 that same year, though a hiatus was taken between March 20 and April 15.

• February 28 (Friday)

Starting today, I'll be writing about the results of my research.

However, I'm going to keep the details of my research a secret! I don't want someone to steal my research.

Today's research went pretty well, but I messed up at the end and it exploded.

Even though it exploded, I didn't have any hair, so it didn't turn into an afro.

• Saturday, March 1st

Today's research didn't go very well.

Maybe I should add a little more alcohol.

That thought was the end of my luck...

What happened after that is up to you to imagine.

• March 2 (Sun)

Today I went to 9-Volt-kun's house to play games, and I found a strange creature in his house.

It was a yellow, square creature, but I wonder what it was?

I'd like to make it a new research subject.

• Monday, March 3rd

Today I tried a little experiment. Well, listen.

I heated some gummy candy in a frying pan.

After a while, lots of bubbles started to form.

I scooped some up with a spoon and ate it, and it was delicious!

I highly recommend it to everyone.

However, there are three things you need to be careful of.

First, be careful not to burn yourself! Heated gummy candy is extremely hot. I burned my tongue once, and it still stings...

Second, gummy candy that has cooled down sticks to your teeth incredibly easily! It sticks to your teeth in a way that regular candy doesn't!

And third, gummy candy that has cooled completely becomes incredibly hard! This is probably because the bubbles have disappeared. It becomes like candy and is delicious to lick.

• March 4th (Tuesday)

Today was the worst day ever.

Do you know about the jetpack I invented?

It's a great device that lets you fly when you wear it on your back, and today I used it to go to town to buy some research materials.

But then, lo and behold, it ran out of fuel while I was flying and fell...

I had no choice but to hail a taxi to the port, and from there I swam back to the island where the lab is.

Even I almost drowned on the way back.

Oh, I forgot to buy the research materials...

• Wednesday, March 5th

Today I fixed my jetpack and lifespan suit.

It was a simple job for a genius like me, but the injury from the fall still hurts... I think I'll try increasing the battery capacity of the jetpack.

• March 6th (Thursday)

I tried a little experiment today. Well, listen.

Whenever I'm tired from research, I always drink tea with glitter in it, but today I felt like drinking coffee as well. But I also wanted my usual tea.

So I decided to take a chance and mix coffee and black tea together.

The color turned out to be coffee-like, but the black tea had a stronger aroma. It's strange.

how should I put it, the bitterness of the coffee and the bitterness of the black tea combine to create a really strange taste...

Today, Wario invited me to a barbecue on the beach.

I was planning to go out to buy some research supplies that I had forgotten to buy the other day, but it had been raining for a long time.

So I went out to buy some supplies using the "rain jet pack" I invented , but I ended up getting soaked because I was wearing my usual clothes ...

Each hair has its own growth rate and lifespan.

According to my research, hair grows at about 0.3 mm per day.

However, eyelashes and eyebrows grow at a slower rate, so they reach the end of their lifespan and fall out even without cutting them.

Of course, I conducted this experiment when I still had a lush head of hair.

Today, I researched spaceships with the help of Orbulon-kun.

There are many planets in the universe with more advanced civilizations than Earth, and Orbulon-kun's home planet is one of them.

I used the mechanics of Orbulon-kun's spaceship as a reference.

If I add my own technology to it, I think we can create something amazing.

I haven't been getting enough exercise lately, so when I went to dance flamenco, I got a cramp in my leg and had to struggle for about half a day...

I had modified Kat-kun and Ana-kun's swords into high-tech ones, but today Kat-kun brought it to me saying that his sword had broken.

I wondered why, and it turned out that the battery had simply died...

Next, 9-Volt-kun brought me his skateboard saying it was broken.

Wario came to the lab today.

Wario-kun called me and asked me to attend a roundtable discussion on "WarioWare."

I was busy with research, but he threatened to destroy the lab if I didn't come, so I reluctantly went.

The discussion lasted about three hours, but it was very informative, including how to come up with ideas.

I wonder if I could directly apply the ideas I use in game development to my research?
