Mario & Donkey Daibōken is a series of Japanese activity books drawn by Ritsuko Kawai, the creator of Hamtaro. It was initially published by Shogakukan through the children's magazine Shōgaku Ichinensei between April 1995 and January 1999; in April 1998, it was renamed Mario no Bōken Land.

The plot revolves around Mario, Luigi, and Donkey Kong, who embark to "Donkey World," home of the Kong Family and the Kremling Krew, to save Princess Peach, who was kidnapped by Bowser.

The pages feature various activities ranging from puzzles, spot the differences activities, mazes, and picross while narrating the story.

It is composed of a total of three books belonging to the Shogakukan Wonderland Books series, two of them titled Mario & Donkey, published in July 1996 and August 1997, and Mario no Bōken Land, published in January 1999 and the last book of the series.

The books adapt several Super Mario and Donkey Kong titles; prominent titles include Super Mario World, Donkey Kong Country, and Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest.

Mario & Donkey Cover of Mario & Donkey Mario, Luigi and Princess Peach travel to Yoshi's Island to play with Yoshi, but are interrupted when Bowser kidnaps Peach, so Mario and Luigi go to her rescue along with Donkey Kong who joins the chase. However, Donkey Kong becomes Bowser's minion by eating a banana that Bowser gave him and leads Mario and Luigi to a giant fountain, where they both think they see Princess Peach, only to discover that they are in a strange world with a Princess Peach doll holding a letter written by Bowser telling them that they are in Hell's Donkey World. To defeat Donkey Kong, Mario and Luigi search for a rainbow banana found at the bottom of the ocean. King K. Rool teams up with Bowser and takes Luigi hostage to ambush Mario and his friends. Mario & Donkey 2 Puzzle de Daibōken Cover of Mario and Donkey 2 Puzzle Adventure Mario and Donkey Kong return to Mario Land after a long journey only to discover that Princess Peach and their friends were turned to stone. Upon searching, they find a clue that tells them it was all the work of Kaptain K. Rool and his crew, so they go to Kremling Island in Donkey World. Diddy and Dixie Kong team up after being freed from a chest by Mario and Donkey Kong, but K. Rool brainwashes them both, turning them against Mario and Donkey Kong. August 1997
